Warriors of the Frontier is a forum RPG based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. It's set in a time and place completely removed from the book series - that is, the cats in the forum are completely unaware of that storyline and live in different location. What we keep from the series is the particular culture of the cats as depicted in the books and their way of living and interacting with the world. Because of this theme, creativity is strongly encouraged and those who have not read the books shouldn't have too much trouble joining in.
It's a hard time for all but the kittypets. And the skies are empty, but that doesn't matter because no cat in this place looks there. The Twolegplace is expanding and the loners who once lived in the fields that have become Twoleg nests are having trouble finding prey. Many cats have left and many cats have died. Some resort to eating kittypet food. Some have made the risky choice of venturing beyond the Highfence, though the abundance of prey there is more than equaled by the dangers of a forest more wild than any cat can face alone.
But change is on the horizon, and a stranger has appeared who speaks of codes and stars and clans and warriors...
