Lion King, Epilogue; v1. Ascension:
~ Three years have passed since, Kiara and Kovu became the King and Queen of the pride lands. Simba and Nala are still alive but, act as Thetas to the pride--simply mentoring and giving advice when needed. Kovu and Kiara gave birth to triplets a year into their rule-- two sons and one daughter. As with tradition, they were taught the way of the circle of life but, each has taken it in a different context due to their different personalities. As young teens, entering young adulthood, they each face trails and tribulations as they each try and figure out where they belong in the circle and what their purpose is. Kamau, the first born and, the light colored son, is the peace keeper; the voice of reason and the most like his great, grand father Mufasa; Makara, the second born and also the traditional colored son of goldenrod hue, is the misguided one and most like his grand father Simba; and lastly, Ashanti, the third born, dark colored daughter is the wild card; the one of disturbance and, a combination of her great, uncle Scar and, her father Kovu. Each has been promised the reign of the pride lands but, each must prove themselves worthy to be the chosen one, for all three can not rule. With darkness on the horizon, in the form of a troop of outlanders out for revenge (all refugees left over from the war and rejectors of the choice if bringing the out landers and pride landers together, looming in the back ground) lead by Ebele, the exiled, psychotic, daughter of Vitani's, chaos is abound. And.... with rogues, the misunderstood loners scorned by both the outlanders and pride landers tossed into the mix, will the pride lands be ripped apart by another war? What will become of the three siblings? What side will you choose--the rogues, the outlanders or the pride landers? Your part in the circle of life, begins here.
